Dominik was born in Landshut (Bavaria) in 1968.
He studied photography at the
Staatliche Fachakademie für Fotodesign in Munich
and earned his M.A. at the LCP in London in 1998.

Having spent 14 years in London and establishing
himself as a freelance photographer,
he and his family relocated to Munich in 2009.

He now loves living in Bavaria
and works on assignments around the world.

Since January 2019 he has been part of the FOTODOKS collective, co-curating and co-organizing FOTODOKS 2019 ‘vis-à-vis’, FOTODOKS 2021 ‘a house is a house is a house’ and FOTODOKS 2023 ‘Future Perfect’
